Since 1977, I have been involved in real estate, construction, sales, management, and development. I believe that a “developer” has one of the most important duties of any profession since they take something created by God (in the event of a vacant piece of land) and change it. This mandate, in my opinion, is to be respectful to the land, its inhabitants, and its surroundings. A developer must also be responsible to build what was promised to the community, planning department, and commission.

I have built three custom homes in Walton County, all of which Alice and I designed. One of those homes is our personal residence. My main project has been TopSail Village which is a mixed use development at the west end of 30-A. So far, this has been a 12-13 year process, and there are three buildings yet to be built.
