Serve God first, your wife second, and family next. Alice and I are blessed with two children, Carol and Mark. Alice and I home-schooled our children, and then they entered what was known as OWCC, then on to UWF, and Regent University in Virginia Beach. Carol has a MBA from Regent University in Virgina and works in our family business managing 30-A Suites, and other rental property. Mark has a law degree from Regent University, and has just passed the Florida Bar. Mark also has a contractor's license and was the contractor for 30-A Suites and Celebration Hall. He also does the web-site and computer tec work for our businesses. Alice and I are blessed to have our children come back to Walton County to work in our small businesses. We would like to see more opportunity for young people to make Walton County their first choice for work and home.

I have three brothers, two live in California, and my older brother, Steve lives in Anchorage, Alaska and is a pastor at Grace Bible Church. My Dad passed away in 2000, and my Mom lives on her 5 acre ranch in Sanger, California raising fainting goats and other animals. She was a Reading Specialist Teacher with Fresno Unified School District, and then retired to her “ranch” and now does petting animals events for the community along with her goat breeding program.
